I have a SSIS package. It is being used on two different machines against different databases.
The issue is that on one of the machines the size of SSIS package is displayed as 83 KB and on the other it is 323 KB.Little difference in size is understandable..but such difference is not.
Any idea what's the cause?

Thanks in advance.

What I have tried:

I took both packages (from different machines) and compared them task by task. Everything's same.

I opened both packages in a comparing tool and found that the packages had different PackageFormatVersion. the values were 3 and 8. 3 referrig to SQL2008 and 8 to SQL2014/SQL2016.
