How to call a rest api returning xml/json from ssis?

Hi,

Can we consume a ReST API (that takes id and password) and get the result in XML/JSON and store in a table using SSIS?

What I have tried:

I have seen examples for SOAP but not for ReST. If I could get some help on this, then that would be really great.
