Trojan found in program??

I found this link to a fractalgenerator
Download source - 39.2 Kb

I downloaded and unzipped it but then AVIRA said it found a Trojan (TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen) in SSEroutines_test.exe. Is this a false-positive?

I guess you should ask the author of the article about this. Or decide on your own. Given your post, I, for one, will not take a risk of downloading it.
BTW, I wonder how it went through. Given the CP article approver standards I do not think anything like this can go through.
