How to fix ( No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin') Error?

I want to upload multiple images through jquery using Bootstrap plugin in Codeigniter project.
but it works properly in Localhost, but in live server it gives me this error:

Response to preflight request doesnt pass access control check: No Access-Control-Allow-Origin header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://example.com is therefore not allowed access

This is a very common problem and there are thousands of articles that explain how to fix it so just google the error message. Please do basic research before asking a question.
