How to make caller id in c#.net

I know this is answered question however I want to know hardware required and how to setup.

I am trying to build take-out's delivery system wherein users call and there phone number get captured on WINFORM.

I googled and it says i need to use TAPI API , that's fine but do I need to connect anything to PC? or just using using TAPI will work ?

But no where it explains the setup. So please help

I looked further and found that I need callerid.com device, but thats too expensive as usage is not complex and a single line.
Just out of curiosity how does POS system works with phone line for deliveries.
