Marcelo, I want do a MIDI Band like your project, but using Inverse Kinematics with finger accurate 3D characters playing 3D musical instruments inside Unity.

I am a MIDI expert, I created a MIDI guitar controller, and wrote a suite of Interactive piano teaching software for Alfred Publishing, all MIDI based with my custom graphics.

I also coded an interactive MIDI engine for the hit game Everquest (Sony 1999) and wrote 150 pieces for it. I made the MIDI engine work with 3D game objects and cue off events like character animation and position. Even changing arrangements on the fly by muting and unmuting MIDI tracks. In 1999 all MIDI music was a good idea for underpowered platforms.

Now I want to create high quality music as mp3s or MIDI, and use the MIDI data mostly for visuals, animation and effects on huge video screens.

Can we talk about this? You seem like a kindred spirit. Your MIDI arrangements for WPF MIDI Band are very impressive. My email is jaybarbeau at gmail dot com. Please email me, and lets talk by Skype.

If you are waiting for someone named "Marcelo" to just happen by and see your posting, you are likely going to be waiting a very long time.

Who's "Marcelo"?

You cannot address a post like this to a single person in a public forum. The chances of "Marcelo" just coming by and seeing your post are very very remote.

If you're talking about some article here on CP, there is a forum at the bottom of every article. Post your query in there. That way, the author of the article will get notified that you posted something.
