They usually last between 1-2 months per year. I am less productive than I would like during these times. IMHO, outside of software, hardware, company bs constraints, your mental state dictates your level of productivity. The head of quality, and also phb agree with that. A quickly "developed" prototype is all what they want to do. "What can go wrong?" - "What a stupid question, showing your negativity! When something went wrong, we can just solve it afterwards..." Failing even SIL 1 not only due to lack of process documentation, but because of contents.
