In Pennsylvania, U.S., am paying $201 but it is a bundle with landline (ugh), TV, and Internet @ 100 Mbps with Verizon FiOS.

4Mbps (4 down, 2 up), Uncapped, at about $42 depending on the exchange rate.

I have to say I'm quite surprised to get an answer to this question several months later.

From reading / hearing it on the news, I was one those people who went "bit O Gaffa, it be alright" and dang me if that not what they used! Mind you if I was in that situation, I would want to go the whole hog and chop a finger off my glove and do a Watney!

I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

I already fired up the projector and made popcorn to watch this movie a few weeks ago. Must i do that again when I come home today?

I have to admit, I love Go as a language. It's incredibly elegant and, to my mind, makes things like concurrent programming a lot easier for people to get their heads around (using goroutines).

I did 2 whole tutorials.. and then I dropped it hahah.
But it did looks good.
Happy the generic is coming though, was kind of missing.

Yeah, the generic side is a pain. I worked around this, in the past, by using genny and a "template" file.

...I moved to another town.
A few weeks ago I mentioned that my Internet speeds were hanging out around 5MBPS even though I pay for 100 MBPS. Spectrum came out and physically stared at the incoming cable but staring at it didn't seem to do anything so the tech left.
I knew I was moving so I gave up on caring about it.
Anyways, I am a new place, a new town and there is :
1 cable buried in the ground that comes up to my house.
Out of that one cable I ran a cable inside to the cable modem. No splitters, nothing else.
I also bought a quad-core tri-band router Linksys AC2200.[^]
I now get 114 MBPS over direct connect from cable modem. We have 3 people streaming UHD tv, PlayStation games and various other stuff and everything is fast.
So, if you're having problems, just move to a new city.

We did the same a few months ago. We lived in way out in the countryside with only adsl. Now we are in the city.
New Zealand is quite lucky in that everybody in the large towns and city has fibre running down the street and no cost to run it into your house.

Cannot move to New Zealand, though. You are upside down.

You get used to it. Just think like a bat..
Or an easy fix is to just become a member of the flat-earther. No-ones upside down then

So the flat Earth people think we live on a Mobius strip?

Just moved from Singapore, where like NZ fibre to the unit/house is standard, to the hinterland of Cairns where ADSL is the only option - till next week when the NBN arrives at the node.
Currently I'm getting 1-3 mbs, it can't be any slower than that.

Yesterday I went out motorbiking with my brother whose out from Brisbane. He was saying the same thing, plus his "unlimited Plan" is throttled back if they go over a certain limit.
For us that's a distant memory, thankfully

Coming back to Oz from Singapore is like stepping back 20 years. I guess it is not fair comparing the 2, SG is the size of Sydney
