Look at the member's profile; does not look like a spammer.

I didn't mean anything about the member only he\she spammed this article

The message title suggests there is an alternative to what you have in your article, so it is not really spam.

Indeed, a commercial alternative as opposed to our open source version which reflects the premise of the article. Anyway, obviously hijacking other people's articles is okay for the mods, let's move on.

How does using the words "alternative to article" justify posting links to commercial sites?

The link is actually relevant to the subject matter of the article. So I don't believe it falls into the usual definition of spam. You may have your own view of it.

Thank you all for the great assistance. Someone from the mods went in and removed all links to our website from the article. We have fully working open source version on GitHub. This was relevant, real source code with real article.
The spam link however was left untouched.
Thank you again. I deleted all my articles. Hope this will finally resolve my predicament.

The only comment is a link to his\her commercial website which looks like spam to me

I would suggest do remove the link and mark the Report as obsolete

I just wonder... why did it take you over 4 years to complain about it?

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

It never too late to right a wrong. 1023 years, 4 months and 22 days from now, when Alexa had taken over the world, spam will still be spam mate.
