Hello,
I've noticed a small bug on the home page. When we click on "C#" menu or other menus other than "All" we stay on the "All" page. For example when we click on "C#" menu we are redirected to https://www.codeproject.com/?cat=3/index.aspx but we stay on the "All" page. I've tested it on different browsers and the problem keeps appearing.

Mind you that I'm in the military right now, thus accessing the site from a DOD Laptop. Anyways, IE 9 keeps displaying this message[^] at the bottom.

Glitch on the site or DOD madness at work? Decide yourself. The connection is fast, thus loading speed issues can't be the reason.

I saw "Set your site filter" in home page and there have Android, Mobile and others. What the different between Mobile and Android ?

They are just selection filters for general questions/articles etc. Not all mobiles are Android devices, and not all Android devices are mobiles. So it just filters items according to how they are tagged by the people who create them.

Many source code projects here are outdated because MFC requires projects to be UNICODE.
Here is an article with that problem (if you download its source code).

What is your suggestion? Do you want CP to remove all those articles? Or update the code?

If you need to use the code as it is, install the MBCS DLL. I have not tried it with VS2015, but I had to do it with VS2013 for a project I was working on.

That is entirely up to the authors. In some cases, we have authors who still use the old version of the IDE they created the code in so they won't be in a position to update it. In other cases, it takes far more effort than they have time available to them. There are so many reasons that people don't update the code.

Unlike the new Article post, in Revision phase, the new Technical blog post do not allow other user/approval to communicate with the author on how to improve the post. The comment section was disabled "Comments are only available once an article is submitted for publishing."

I think that option should be open up so that the community can chip in their comments/concerns before the blog when live. That case, some readers, do not have to release their aggression through downvoting the blog post to 1 anonymously.

Most of his rep points come from the Organiser[^] and Participant[^] categories. Neither of which are linked to posting content.

Maybe he's signed in/out a lot, and voted, reported and bookmarked lots of other people's posts. Unsure | :~

Well, the Participant points are kinda hard to come by. There might be less than 30 members with more Participant points than him and most of them have multiple MVP awards.

Here is another one that seemed to gain a lot of Participant points around the same time:

BTW, that profile must be messed up. It shows up on page 14 of Who's Who at CodeProject[^] and is almost 50K total points short of that ranking

It's not a well known fact, but CP will sell you rep points if you ask politely and provide your credit card #. Wink | ;)

although I don't care that much about the points, I do find such report useful because

1) it might be a bug in the site
2) it might be an exploit being abused
3) either way, if the guy is doing "obscured" things, the staff gets informed and can do something
