Privileges

Members need to achieve at least one of the given member levels in the given reputation categories in order to perform a given action. For example, to store personal files in your account area you will need to achieve Platinum level in either the Author or Authority category. The "If Owner" column means that owners of an item automatically have the privilege. The member types column lists member types who gain the privilege regardless of their reputation level.

Being playing around with data tables using ASP.NET MVC and NuGet. Some very cool technology making ajax client side scripting very easy. For anyone that wants to do client side filtering and sorting of a grid view DataTables is the bomb.
Reference Datatables-ASP.NET-MVC and Datatables.net jquery plugin in your MVC project. Create a HTML element . You get some pretty cool styles with DataTables out of the box.
https://datatables.net has all the info you need. I found sorting worked client side with these functions:
jQuery.fn.dataTableExt.oSort['string-case-asc'] = function(x,y) {
return ((x < y) ? -1 : ((x > y) ? 1 : 0));
};

jQuery.fn.dataTableExt.oSort['string-case-desc'] = function(x,y) {
return ((x < y) ? 1 : ((x > y) ? -1 : 0));
};

then assign each column "aoColumns": [
{ "sType": "string-case" }, and Bobs your uncle you have client side sorting without a post back to the server. fnServerParams is used to pass params to your ajax service call and fnCreatedCell allows you to add hyperlinks to your grid and fnRowCallback allows for formatting of a row. The class definition above gives a really good client side look and feel. Check out Datatables for some really good client side scripting and it fits nicely within ASP.NET MVC projects.
