I univoted it, and clicked on "spam/abusive" as it's reputation point driving and we should remove it as such.
I didn't abuse vote the author, but if he does it again...

You're being unfair  . The first version was a rip off from this[^] article. Then he discovered that Jon updated it and wrote a new version here[^]. They smack more of plagiarism than anything else and the fact he's done it twice argues, to me, that it's abuse by the author.

As plagiarism is serious accuse, Please allow me to provide the version of the author (my colleague):
First, I did not copy anything from the mentioned articles (no code,no text,no images) - In fact, I did not know about those articles.
Moreover, when I quoted one sentence from other source (Wikipedia) - I provide a clear citation.

It is, indeed, a serious accusation which is why it takes many people to vote plagiarism off. However, both of the articles tie directly back to work from Jon Skeet. The ideas are presented in exactly the same order in as Jon's, which is a clear indication that the author was attempting to pass off someone else's ideas as his own. Just because he added a few words here and a few words there, this doesn't make his work original. Perhaps you'd care to email webmaster at codeproject dot com and ask them to take a look.

No, It is clear indication that he wrote about simple and known pattern.
I have seen many movies with the more or less the same story line and nobody accuse the writers with plagiarism.

I find it nice of you that you help your colleague. But I think you should do your own research and compare the work of your colleague with the sources mentioned in this thread before. If you still think your colleague did nothing wrong, then you can defend him as much as you want/can. Be careful, you might get disappointed as well.

I know that there are some similarities in ideas - but this does not mean that my colleague copy from the article.
He write his ideas about very known and simple pattern. Codeproject has 105 articles about this subject. Using this narrow point of view - all those articles can be classified as plagiarism.
If you carefully read his article, You will realize that he write about his ideas and did not copy anything the Jon's article (The focus of the article , the code samples, the text and his explanations are different).

When it uses the same order and virtually identical code to two articles by Jon Skeet (along with the same rationales about the "improvements"), that's when it becomes plagiarized.

The first image of the article is similar enough to the one in the other site without the "copyright" markwater. It looks like reduced in paint. I didn't report it yet.
[Edit] I don't really understand it... It would have been easier to do that in excell and make a screenshot and avoid plagiarism than editing the original as he did  [/edit]

There are clear signs of cut-work on the image (in zoom you still can see the reminders of the grayish writing visible on the original)...
