TakeStock's been around for 9 years now and is pretty stable. The rewrite moves the codebase from MFC to .NET and paves the way for some interesting technical analysis algorithms I've been tinkering with for a while.

Hum, did you know there are more than one currencies? This may well work fine for basic US investors, but within Europe a lot of people will hold portfolios priced in GBX/GBP, EUR, USD, etc.

I may well have a wee look at this.

Yes.

Because TS is currency agnostic (i.e. currency unaware), it's best to organize securities of similar currencies in separate portfolios. Support for currency exchange rates is planned for a future release once I'm able to identify requirements. Would appreciate it if you took the TS2 survey (link at the TS2 site) - the survey is anonymous and allows you to suggest changes and new features.

I currently making a calculating library that will try to be your little virtual excell: it can store values, calculate formulas, insert rows and columns e.t.c. You will be able to synchronize it with your table UI component and so implement spreadsheet-like behavior in your application. I really need:
1) Opinions;
2) Discussions;
3) Possible, testing.
etc. Library will be free for personal and commercial use. I will do all coding by myself. Please everyone who interested tell me.

The project is still alive. I have done 1st beta version already, but it was not so good as I wanted. So, now I rewriting almost everything (memory management, caclucating methods e.t.c.). I have my own vision of how library will work. If you want to participate, can you subcscribe on this message? I will send you beta version or api reference, or I will create a thread in the forum for a little discussion.

CodeProject is currently working with a professor at Oregon State University to better understand what makes components reusable. In this paid study, we will ask you to identify up to 5 components on the CodeProject.com website that you have tried to use, and to describe whether it was easy or hard to use each. You would be able to do the study via an online interactive chat or a telephone, at your choice. As compensation, you would receive $10 for each component that you tell about (via PayPal).

Hello 2 all!

I would like to run or participate in a project of compiler (or, maybe, a translator, or an interpretter). During last months I have gained some skills in this area and would like to enlarge them. Now I started writing a compiler of a C-like language with extended capabbilities (maybe, something will be borrowed from Python) right into the machine code (previously I wrote a translator of a C-like code into MASM, compiled programs worked well, so I do have some background). Though, it will be hard to make it alone, maybe by myself I can gather less clear ideas the compiled language could look like. So I would like to find a partner, or maybe just join some beginning project like mine. Any suggestions?

you can download. read the instructions on the main page. right-click on the download I think but read instructions. I haven't updated in a while but works good except bad 7zip 64 bit file I think.
