This link[^] shows some interesting results. For example, Eddy Vluggen and Marcelo Ricardo de Oliveira are separated by only one rep point and appear in the correct order. However further down the page, Rob Manderson and Stan Shannon do not appear in the correct order. I suspect that for the order by clause the rep points are being rounded, but it is not clear what factor is then used for tie-breaking. Any reason for the rep points rounding, if it is indeed that being used? Thanks.

Nope, that page shows members ordered by whatever they had been ordered before; the sortedby parameter isn't part of the URL. I suspect it is stored in a cookie!

sorry, my mistake. You are right, there is a parameter, however I typically don't get to see it, as the URL (from the Who's Who menu) works without that parameter, and then uses the most recent choice.

Just looked into it. It's sort of a hybrid. If the sort is currently message count, and it indicates that in the query string, then you change the sort to reputation and click "Refresh", the page will update with the new sort, but the URL will remain unchanged. Now, if you click "Next" to see the next page of results, the query string parameter will change to "ml_ob=Reputation". So it seems to be a dynamic page that doesn't change on refresh, but which changes the URL's so that anything clicked on the page will result in the new valid URL.
Not exactly a bug, but it seems like this page should be changed so that any time somebody sends a URL to others, they see the same information. Perhaps they should preform a redirect when the "Refresh" button is clicked rather than just doing a simple postback.

Remembering the last choice was something I requested when the numeric anchors got lost during the face lift.
While the current implementation is already good enough for my use, I think I agree with what you suggest.

The reason for the original incorrect link, is that I originally went to that link and refreshed the page and requested the sort order by Reputation. I didn't realize that the URL for the page didn't change. My bad.

It doesn't make sense to me to round numbers before sorting (unless such was the spec), the results don't get any better, and AFAIK the operation doesn't become cheaper by doing something like that. I would guess the numbers change from the time they are looked up for sorting and looked up again to actually generate the page (which strictly speaking would be a bug).
{ADDED] I now looked more closely and noticed the difference is more than 300 points, that can't be a dual-fetch glitch. [/ADDED]

1) I'm at work - on a miltary installation - and the irony that nobody on the base has a weapon is so thick you could cut it with a knife (if those weren't prohibited as well).
2) My one child is a federal prison guard in California.

Generally, an answer gets a light green background without border when your answer score is 4+ after 3 people vote. Currently, the answer in question has 4 votes accounting to total of 5/5 and thus a light green shade. OP, has not marked it as an answer yet. Once he does, surely you should get +25.
Further, for attaining marked answer limit in a day (10), we totally depend on enquirers. It really needs, a good effort from enquirer side, which we all know for now is very very difficult! 
I don't think so that your accepted answer limit must have reached for the day. (Just verified your answer list, surely not the case.)

John, this is the perfect answer, just one addition. When using Tryparse() the second argument should be an “out” argument and the integer variables have to be initialized/in order to use the “out” key word./
