For me, it's very interesting but it's so large to search the material for my seminar project which is about Model-based Testing. I am programming 5 years now. I am the phase of sharing my framework with some friends.
- already using unfuddle.com , to svn my project between home and outdoors.
- already using excell 2007 / google docs for my flowcharts.
- got a 1 meter high pile of handdrawn graps and drawings to scan into pdf.
- i want to rip out all the xml comments in my vs project towards a easy editabble help file online.
- i already have my own website where i can host a sql database , if need be.
- i would like to start with a project progress page.
I would like be spending max 15 euro/month for this.
I want to opensource for only a selected few , and the rest of the poeple can pay for my efforts.
Can you guys point to a right dirrection articles/websites ?

I've just released a beta version of a requirements planning management application. It's ASP.NET/C# 2.0 and uses db4o.
The application is stable but I'd like to get some feedback and some thorough testing to find bugs. It will also help me decide which future features to focus on.

Hi,
When I send to gmail's imap the following:
z search unseen
it responds "z OK SEARCH COMPLETED" but it doesnt thraw me the message ids as it should..
Can someone try this?
Also tryied with another imap server (vfemail.net, free) and it also doesnt throw me the unseen message id's... and the LIST command is kind of blocked too in this last server.

I've been making the effort lately to turn my side project into a small business. I'm at the point now where I'd like to offer my program up to the gods of beta testing.
My project is the Pelnor Help Add-in. It is a Visual Studio add-in for creating front end project documentation and help files. It works with VS 2005 and 2008. It can create documentation as PDF, XPS, HTML help, and WinHelp. I'm going to run this beta test until May 1st.

I wanted to do load testing of my web application using Load Testing feature of VS .net 2008. I have tried it but i am not able to analyze the reports. Can anyone tell me how to analyze the reports.
My only intention is to check whether my application handels 50 users at a time or not. Can anyone tell me how to do it using VS .net 2008

Hello,
First of all sorry for the spam =)
I maintain a coding library for .NET/Mono called SixPack. It's a general purpose class library based on good architectural principles, and is currently being used in a number of websites. We think that code quality is pretty good, and we strive to improve every day.
Most of the code base comes from my last 7 years of work as a web developer in a web agency, and this means that the test bed of the library has always been windows and .NET. On the other hand I have started using GNU/Linux a couple of years ago for development and apparently the library has good support for Mono.
Main features:
* Logging
* Caching (with or without prefetching)
* Store Procedures handling
* Image Sizing
* Code Generation
* Validation
* XML Rpc support
What we really need is extensive testing in many different scenarios.
Is anyone willing to try it out for us?

...if the "Testing" half of this forum is a reference to Unit/Fit/Automated testing? If so, a better name that would attract more activity to this forum might be "Unit Testing"...given that we don't have such a forum yet.

Would anyone be interested in helping me port the VCF[^] to run on Win CE mobile devices?
I would like to have the two basic libraries, the FoundationKit (stuff like files, threads, strings, etc) and the GraphicsKit (drawing, images, etc) ported, and then create a new lib, called something like "MobileUIKit" that handled controls, views, etc. It would borrow some of the basic classes from the existing ApplicationKit(which is designed for desktop applications), and add new ones more relevant for mobile UI development.
