Hello, here is my problem. I have a DataGrid control with some columns. My question is about two of them. When I enter a value in any cell of the first column I want to calaculate (by expression) the value of the second column by using the value of the first column in the same row. OK, I have a function which does that and works fine, but when I click to sort the DataGrid it doesn't work correct. I use DataView to navigate through the records in a DataTable. All of the columns are in this DataTable. Where do I make a mistake? Can somebody help?

what did u use to sort the table,
i use this:
xDataSet.xtable.DefaultView.RowFilter= " xcolumnname LIKE '%" + txt_zoeken.Text+ "%' ";
dataGridView1.DataSource = xDataSet.xtable.DefaultView;
but i dont know how to sort the whole table in ones, i only sort in one column.
let me know i u find how to do this

I'm creating a website and the portion I'm working on now involves two web pages. The first page creates an image object and then I'm basically doing a response.redirect to the 2nd page however this 2nd page needs to access the original image object that I created on the 1st page.
So how can I preserve an object so that it's accessible across multiple pages?
Normally I wouldn't require a 2nd aspx page to utilize the same object however in this particular case, with what I'm trying to accomplish, I need to perform it this way.

Your question is very strange!! I must admit I don't understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to open a document -eg. pdf, doc, xls- inside your application? Otherwise you'd be making a virtual machine!!;P

I'm trying to take an existing assemby and use it as part of a display.
The application displays a graph using some hardware sensors. As this works fine within itself I'm trying to load the application into my form as a control.

That won't work. Either you find out how the program displays its graph -usually using a dll or something, which you can use in your application by referencing to it. Watch out for copyrights here-, or you use a graph library yourself. You can find plenty here in CodeProject.

Hi. I would like to know how to send SMS using Windows Application (C# .Net). The idea is that there is a mobile phone connected to the computer and the Windows Application will send SMS using that phone.. Does anyone know how to do this? I need help. Thanks!

Hello
I think this will be considered more with mobile development also. This will depend on the type of phone you are connecting -eg. SmartPhone, Symbian, etc...- as each plateform has its own commands.
Concerning the windows part all you have to do is make a program that will interface with the mobile using either usb port, bluetooth, or any other mean of data transport.

I found a project in c# to print the current active windows in MDI form, which wraps System.Drawing.Printing types. When i select 4 pages per sheet for printing, While printing its printing only 2 pages per sheet. Can anybody tell me which type of System.Drawing.Printing namespace need to be looked into for this type of bug, given the printing types are wrapped.

It sounds more like the images doesn't fit on the page. Have you checked that the page size in the printer settings correspond to the paper size that you are using?

Yes, I even changed the size of the pages to relatively small , so that it can fit. But it seems something wrong with classes wrapped

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you can't select Label boxes with the tab key. Labels are not designed to get the focus, if you want your image to get the focus, you'll have to put it in another type of control.
