Ghazi H. Wadi.

He has been programming since the late 1980's, Making money from Software development is a different story.

Ghazi (Raz) Joined Dundas Software On 1997 where he was fortunate to work with the best of the best in software development.
He led the development of 3 versions of Ultimate TCP/IP ( before it went Open source)
In adition to his job as a Manager at an over-seas Health-Care organization. From 2002-2017 Ghazi was managing Application Department at healthcare oriented organization. Next, Ghazi built and dockerized micro-services that talked to OpenGl Apps through Kafka servers in the clouds.
Now he is Managing Web-services & security at CAA.

Ghazi's education includes Masters Degree in Technology Management from Harvard University , a degree in BSTM (Magna Cum Laude)from Herzing College Madison, WI and a Diploma in DDA (With Honor ) from Herzing College, Ottawa, ON.
Prior to that, Ghazi attended a continuing education program in Computer Engineering Technology at Algonquin College, Ottawa, ON.


Ghazi is PMI Certified PMP. and ASQ Certified SSGB. He Holds a Second Dan Black belt in Taekwondo.

well, managing a software project is pain in the neck. let alone developing for research purposes.
How can you present a staus report for somthing you did not tell the higher management that you were going to deliver (because their specification was not even clear when they first asked you to develop it)

if you use the old waterfall approach you will definitly be looking for new job before the end of the project.
iterative developent to the rescue!
If you use the iterative approach and convince your higher manageent that you are using the iterative development approach not the traditional waterfall development approach, and that each portion of the project goes through several iteration that cover:
1. Planning
2. Requirement collection
3. Analysis & design
4. Implementation
5. Testing
6. Evaluation
7. Then back again to planning

you will be in safe side as you have found yourself an excuse that you are in the research and the management will be confedent that when time comes you will be able to justify resource spending (your effort, time and money) to the stakeholders.
