Played rock and roll (lead guitar) in the 70’s while also attending university as a psychology major (did some interesting experiments in parapsychology while there).

I studied electronics after leaving the music business, obtaining an FCC 1rst Class RadioTel license and worked in the telecommunications industry while working on a BSEE (switched majors).

I made significant contributions to start-up companies on the east coast as a software designer (primarily C on Intel platforms) on new product teams (including the design and implementation of email systems in 1984 on a voice-data terminal---long before the Internet or most folks knew what email was).

In recent decades I’ve worked as a self-employed IT consultant and website designer.

I still play music occasionally and in 2010 produced a couple of albums of original songs with a former colleague from the rock business.
