Finally, I've submitted my second article on CP, which is incidentally my first tech article. I've had a 'final' draft for more than 6 months, but somehow, I was putting it off. And I spent 2 hours wrestling with an error in the submission wizard.
Anyway, the article's up, and should hopefully be helpful.

No idea. Maybe it's my obsession with reading everything, no matter how technical or relaxed, interesting or boring, euphoric or infuriating, straight-forward or complicated.

A good Question !!
Before some hours of X-Mas eve.
Last night, I read your post that your were flying to Australia to be with your family and Bro..
And I found interesting as I also miss my social life, Although I am with my parents and relative lives nearby.
I hardly found time for them so though let's see who(indian) is the person who loved his family like us.
That's how I ended here reading this and though to reply it ON 25th of DECEMBER(Yeah we are working today)

Respect the knowledge and love for programming you have.
I am a Maharashtrian - India but settled in UK. For some reason(your surname) I thought you are Maharashtrian too.
Anyways nice to see your posts and articles.

Hello, nice of you to drop by!
Yes, I'm Marathi; I speak a very old dialect called Thanjavur Marathi. My love for programming is, well, mostly over. More of a BA now.
Where in the UK are you, London?
Cheers,
Vikram. (Got my troika of CCCs!)

Yep I am in Lodon. Working as Software Engineering Team Lead in a medical imaging company. So still connected with programming.
I know few Marathas from TamilNadu/Karnataka. I have worked in Chennai and Bangalore in the past when I was in India.
Where about are you in UK?
Cheers!

Err, I'm in Chennai. I was only in London for 2 months in summer 2008. I stayed in Wembley and my office was near St. Paul's.
Would absolutely love to go back though!
Cheers,

Let's see, 1000 posts, my 20th birthday, Saturday, what more could I ask for?
:starts looking around: A pyjama-kurta from my Dad, an anti-glare screen (already addicted to it) from my Mom, a new mousepad from my kid brother, a shirt from my aunt, and of course, $$$. Had a smashing time, with my friends from school, who dropped in as a surprise with a birthday cake.
But best of all, I like what I've given myself- my own message board.
Vikram.
