Perhaps AI would reduce the surprise element during travel.
If things become predictable, then no surprises (of the pleasant kind).

Isn't part of the magic of travel the surprise. It helps to have an idea of where to go, but once you get there, if you've watched all the YouTube videos and explored all the blogs, do you really need to go there? Yes it will be new, but you'll be judging it against the eyes of somebody else that only showed the "perfect" side of it.

Yes. That's what i meant. AI would reduce surprise in travel, and hence reduce the spontaneity of our responses. So, i would not prefer AI for travel.
However, if some form of AI gives cautionary information on how to avoid getting mugged, etc., that would be okay; not sure whether AI does this.

I would like AI to wash my dishes while I use free time to be creative with arts and music.
Currently, it is still the other way round.

Oh man, I've been so overwhelmed trying to port plutovg to C++ and integrate it into my library. I'm not done, but I'm through the woods *knock on some of it*
I didn't know if I was going to finish it. I kept running into massive problems because I needed to fundamentally change the way plutovg rendered in order to be able to do so in low memory situations. Prior it could only render to an in memory bitmap at 4 bytes per pixel, which wasn't feasible.
I hate shelving projects and I was about ready to abandon this one and maybe start over later. What a mess. Then I got some wind in me, rolled up my sleeves and proceeded to use my bare arms to pull a rabbit out of a hat.
