I admit that I used a list which sorts words by word length to help, but that would not have helped without the first two letters

Idiots, they are simply idiots.
So, on my new Windows 11 Pro laptop, I was notified that hey, it's time for an update. We estimate 3 minutes apply and reboot. Thinking I might as well get it over with, I say "Rodger dodger."
It's been going now for 45 minutes, has rebooted 3 times, and I'm going to bed. I guess this is what happens when your OS is a tightly tangled bowl of spaghetti.

I have to count myself lucky. I've never had an update problem, although a couple of MS updates seemed to mess up my VPN but also seemed to be fixed in short order. And even luckier considering how often Dell wants to update its BIOS. I'd have thought a BIOS would be left alone for longer.

Hi All,
I am still here! I have not really posted much recently (I have asked the odd question in despartion) but... still like to read the lounge and the Daily email. The last few there has been no selection of conversation, is it still a thing? Daily CCC is back (I think) never made any headway, also I miss Moive Quote of The Day... ah memories. You young whipper snappers get off my lawn!
