I have a 15" 1080p USB-C monitor arriving tomorrow from Amazon. Currently 15% off, now at CAD$85.
I don't expect to be blown away by the quality (at that price), but it should be good enough to just have it showing Teams and email without constantly getting buried by other windows.
Being USB, and having its own kickstand, I should also be able to quickly hook this up to other systems as well, should I ever have a need to do so (not that this is what I bought it for).
This'll be the 4th monitor hooked up to the system on my desk. I've been running for years with 3, and thought I had finally hit the sweet spot...until I came to the conclusion that I could benefit from not having to dig out those two specific windows out of a pile that keeps popping up on top of them. And being USB, I don't have to worry about having enough connections (unlike HDMI or - god forbid - VGA).
I've had another USB monitor I bought for a similar purpose many years ago - but at 800x480, no app is designed to run within that small a space nowadays.
Heck if it works well enough I could see myself getting a few more.

One of my three died this year, but I replaced it with a 32" via Gumtree from a student at the end of his course (about 1/4 of list price, so I'm guessing his course wasn't economics). It's very nice, full 4K @ 3840x2160. I don't physically have the space to get a fourth in: 2 * 22" and * 32" takes up desk space!
I'd have to mount a fourth above the others and that's bad for posture.
