I hate to admit how many sites I visit
News Woodworking YouTube Entertainment Documentary (often)
other Supply Sites things I want to buy (not so often)
Build Videos on YouTube mostly woodworking (every now and then)
I got tired of Book Marks
so I wrote a small app that uses SQLite to store the
Site Type you can add various types
To select a site your presented with a Data Grid View that shows
Site Name URL and Last Visit Date
Click on the site and off you go with the visit date updated
ONE Big failure if you delete a Site Type the associated sites data don't get deleted

I haven't taken the plunge yet, but if you're about to start something brand new then go buy a Udemy course or two on it. They're cheap and usually guide you through the learning process when starting at zero.
The point is, always, always, always pay a few bucks when brand new to something for a tutor/mentor. Whether that's in the form of an actual human teacher, book, Udemy, pluralsight, etc. Most people don't and at best they delay their education or at worst suck what they know.

Hi All,
Odd question, I am having issues with a device plugged into a USB hub of a touch screen PC, when it was connected to an old Win7 desktop via USB it worked with no problem. I'm guessing between 7 and 11 the USB driver changed (it would have to) and now the Win11 the device is unreliable and needs resetting. I wonder is it the device or the driver. It appears that the company does not have any specalised drivers so it's a standard com port.
Can this be an issue?

If a hub is involved, my first suspicion is always power.
+5V ain't what is used to be (says an old time engineer).

I am a Linux fan, does Windows have an application to actually monitor / reed / guess the USB device power "in use " ?
Never seen such app in Linux, but did not bother to look for it.
