I don't think so. Not that I'm looking for bad news. But I guess there would 'not that so glamorous' news in a view days and not pushed: Patient died after N days

|
|
|
|
I find it unlikely that the patient would die. In the worst case, they would have to remove the pig kidney, and the patient would go back on dialysis.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Sorry, but I bet 100:1 that the patient will die

I was bored this afternoon so I decided to do a vanity search on my own name. Just to see what was out there as my only web presence is here on the Code Project web site. One thing I did find was this page[^] on the Oracle website for a product called Oracle Documaker. I have no idea what that product is or what it does. But apparently it contains code from Chris Maunder, Shaun Wilde, The Ultimate Toolbox, and myself; all from here on Code Project. I know the licensing allows for that and I have zero problem with them using my code.
I am just really curious which code of mine they thought worthy enough to use in their app. Is there any way to find out as it is just simple curiosity and nothing more.

Easy to search for one's name on the web when yours is a unique name on the web. I also have one credit to my name on a Samsung Webcam user manual (PDF download). But it did not state which library of mine it is using. So naturally I am curious like you.

It does state which library they used. Your name is listed on page 92 as using the microsoft public license. Page 85 lists Minima and Text Designer Outline Library as using the Ms-PL. And I know you have several articles on text outlining.
It must be Outline Text With DirectWrite[^] as it is the only one with the Ms-PL license.
So congratulations to you.

I only have an article, some simple additions to MFC-List from Simon Hughes.
It got in a couple of comercial products back then too, beyond the ones I wrote myself (using Simon's class and my additions) for the company I was working for.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Very nice! You need to let them know that Open needs to start on the next line.

How are you all doing this? I clearly see lounge comments upvoted but there is absolutely no way I can see of doing this.
Just for reference, I bought a new set of headphones with mic and I couldn't figure out why the mic wasn't working. Turns out I did not have the cable plugged in all the way on the headset (two hard clicks, not just one click when inserting , thanks 4 year old reddit entry), so I may be missing something very simple here.

Up-voting is so last-decade; use the reaction thingy instead.

This site has been around a while so there is a lot of woodwork and lots of things in it.

Remember the days when only upvoting was allowed. Someone termed 'univoter' used to upvote all comments for some of the posts. So the entire comment thread appeared green.
But wait ... there were days when upvoted comments didn't change colour, so no greens.

I thought the univoter was a downvoter, and his actions resulted in downvoting being disabled?
