probably not, but the phrase resurfaced with the movie Grand Torino care of Clint Eastwood. As I recall, he had a rifle in his hand at the time, and the local bozos broke one of his yard gnomes.

My wife & I started watching that not long after the 1st season came out.
The show has changed a bit over the seasons but it continues to be absolutely great (we recently finished the 4th season and are ready for more).
It is a fantastic show. I can't believe how good it actually is and the way they handle alternate history that makes it all feel so real. It is really cool.
It's a great mix of well-rounded characters and technology that is truly amazing.
You get so attached to the characters but then the science "fiction" part is fantastic too.
Obviously I really like that show.
If you like that one, I highly recommend you watch Silo on AppleTV also.
It's a great sci-fi mystery / intrigue which definitely always leaves you wanting more too.
It's based on the books by Hugh Howey (Wool: Book One of the Silo Series[^])

I love following all the space missions - even the ones that end up sideways.
As for Rush - not so much. Music is good but I find his voice irritating.

I wish Mr. Lee had not been so underachieving as to name an autobiography as such.
It's rather childish and short sighted even to the point of ungratefulness.
I know it's in jest, but it's always going to be named that now.
It must have been just horrible, his life, in the limelight with his best bud.
Maybe "What a rush"?

I've just had a message from Google Assistant to remind me that it's my birthday today, and I should contact me and me know I'm thinking of me ...
I tried, but my phone was busy ...

Perhaps Google Assistant has learnt from Yahoo Mail. Since more than 10 years, Yahoo Mail is asking me to wish myself on my birthday.
To make it happy, on a couple of occasions, I've sent myself a birthday mail via Yahoo Mail.
Wishing you a very happy birthday.

Happy Birthday.
I've had my Google Home device since they were released (my son got it for me as a present).
Google Assistant Has Gotten Dumber
Anyways, I've noticed in the past couple of years my Google Assistant has gotten dumber.
I will ask it something like, "How old is Tom Brady?"
Google assistant will respond, "I don't know the answer to that question, but here's something similar...Tom Brady is 46 years old."
Have you noticed that your assistant has become dumber?
Or does mine just need to go back to school?
I'm assuming this has something to do with the AI engine they're using -- maybe they changed it to Bard in the past 2 years or something.
