Consolas, because I am unoriginal.
I will have to check out Cascadia Code, for sure.

I really like coding ligatures so I used Fira Code for a while and then 3 or 4 years ago switched to Cascadia Code.
It's one of the things I install straight away on my new computers, together with the basic toolbox of programs I use daily

my main requirement is the ability to easily distinguish 1Il|0Oo which on this site does not appear to be the case . Cascadia Code does the trick . also i like the multi-character combinations such as != etc . this is why i was using Fira Code until to my surprise Cascadia Code worked fine .

Yes ... the "smart characters" are refreshing (the => becomes an "arrow"; 3+ "=" in a row and you get "double bars"; etc.)

I use Liberation Sans 9-point Bold as the default in a form.
There's also a Mono version for code.
Being visually-handicapped these days, I need BOLD for everything, and simply making the font a larger size just doesn't cut-it for me. I need the thicker strokes of Bold to distinguish text from the background.

Anonymous Pro
Quote: Anonymous Pro (2009) is a family of four fixed-width fonts designed with coding in mind. Anonymous Pro features an international, Unicode-based character set, with support for most Western and Central European Latin-based languages, plus Greek and Cyrillic. Anonymous Pro is based on an earlier font, Anonymous™ (2001), my TrueType version of Anonymous 9, a Macintosh bitmap font developed in the mid-’90s by Susan Lesch and David Lamkins. Anonymous Pro is distributed with the Open Font License (OFL).

Mr. The Codewitch wasted no time getting a new kitty after Izzy had to be euthanized. The new kitty is a yellow tabby with amber eyes, and she refuses to be left alone. We've already been through two names so far, so it's still TBD.
In order to go the coffee shop we had to haul her along with. Luckily we have a backpack with a transparent plexiglass back on it specifically for hauling pets (cats - lets face it, dog people don't do this craziness - they use leashes)
She took to the car just fine. Was more curious than anything. Crushed hearts at the cafe. And then it was on home.
Kitty cried when hubby made himself eggs, because he wasn't paying attention to her. This one should be interesting. He said he wanted a cuddler

I met a woman one time that had a cat on a leash.
I asked her if the cat was comfortable with it and she said it loved it. Go figure?
I don't think before I open my mouth, I like to be as surprised a everyone else.

I think TBD is an excellent name for a cat. No need to rush anything!

(Assuming that TGD was a typo, TBD intended)
I think that's a great proposal.
Jazz people know the story of the old standard "Undecided" by Charles Shavers: Orignally an instrumental, no lyrics. First time it was performed, Shavers received a request from the guy creating the program notes, asking the titles of the numbers to be performed. Shavers answered "It is undecided". So the guy put "Undecided" into the program notes, and the title stuck. The lyrics, fitting the title quite well, came later (and was made hugely popular by Ella Fitzgerald, and later by numerous other singers).
Then again, this would be a nice name for a dog that is supposed to listen to you, and come when you call for it. "TBD" has a commanding air to it, it will carry a long way. But with a cat, it has no such function.
(Somewhat related: In a discussion about the name for a new mixed chorus, I suggested 'Satébe'. It was not chosen, but I was really surprised to find no other chorus who had taken that name.)

Hopefully jabbed and chipped?
And fully weaned is always good - Dij was in the final stages and was always so overwhelmed with joy at being allowed free roam of the house and could sleep on the bed with us that he'd fart. And kitten farts have to be experienced to be believed ... it's amazing how something that small can emit such large, foul smells.
She'll let you know what her name is when she's ready - Dij came to us from Cats Protection with the name "Dixie" which didn't fit at all. Very quickly it became obvious that he was a digital, binary cat: he was either ON (and doing a "Wall of Death" around the room) or OFF and you could have plucked his whiskers out and he wouldn't have woken up. So "Dij" is was!
I hope you are going to teach TBD to code and open her a CP account? And post a piccy in the "where I am" forum?
