Microsoft has released Sysmon 15, converting it into a protected process and adding the new ‘FileExecutableDetected’ option to log when executable files are created. So you'll know when your build finishes
So what would happen if you created a stub exe that called into a dll from main for everything? And then you created different dlls for each program?
I'm sure you know this, but just for pedantic reasons, DLLs are executables too. They use the same file format as EXEs.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

The lawsuit claimed that OpenAI secretly “scraped 300 billion words from the internet." So, every word on the internet is worth $0.001? I could be rich!

Sorry folks, once you put it on the internet it public information. I'm hoping the judge in this case slaps this lawsuit down so hard the lawyers involved are forever buried.

I'm actually hoping those lawyers lose and we apply Gowochin Law on them. Will Shakespeare would approve.

It’s easy to ask for, and even want, feedback in a sort of theoretical sense. But soliciting and responding to feedback are, themselves skills. Did I ask you for advice?

i am amazed the author does not mention code reviews, scrubs, etc.

The report reveals the need for detailed assessments of cloud environments, proper identity management, and deep understanding of user behavior to improve security and breach response. It hasn't rained yet, has it?

Cloud security is a joke. People just won't admit it. Seriously, take a very close look at your t's and c's. I'll bet it's the customer ultimately responsible for said security and buried under all the legalese, Amazon, Microsoft and every other cloud supplier absolves themselves of any fault.
It used to be that you could just unplug the internet connection... all in the name of saving a few bucks.

In a new study, people were more likely to trust tweets generated by GPT-3 than content written by humans. Would you believe me if I told you this article was written by an AI?
Or at least that blurb?

oh this is going to be so much fun...
Around Windows 7+ time frame, I made the jump to SSDs. The increase in performance allowed me to use the Windows 7/10 search bar to find an operation quickly rather than plow through the menus. Simpler than trying to find where the latest update moved a setting. Now on my Windows 11 laptop when I try to do the same thing, I get ads and will get more ads now. Yeah, not looking forward to this.
