I don't need to think twice. If it happens to me I start looking for something new in the moment I know about it and if it is in an interview, I just stand up, say thank you (but think screw you) and walk away.

Quote: Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan have pledged an initial £100 million (about $124.5 million) to establish a Foundation Model Taskforce.
Let me guess: Mrs Sunak, or one of the party donors, or perhaps both, own stock in a newly-formed "Brit-AI-n" company, and that's where the bulk of the money will go.

Judging from your attitude the West is not a "corruption-free zone" as our politicians told us

More like a "corrupt free-for-all zone".

TLA+ is a high level, open-source, math-based language for modeling computer programs and systems–especially concurrent and distributed ones. An even better Three Letter Acronym?

That makes it an E(xtended)TLA
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

IMHO... bollocks.
We are everyday fighting with vague requirements, people that can't express themselves correctly, people that doesn't have a clue about they actually want, etc. etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt on the capacity of those systems to do it (well... I do now doubt about it, but that will probably improve). But I seriously doubt in the capacity of the "non-developers" to really manage to use it properly.
And I am really afraid of what it come out, because of the ego of many people thinking "of course I can". I would not try to build the fundaments of a building, but everyone think they could build software better than us.

It's simple: you just have to keep refining the instructions you give the computer until it produces the output you want.
Which is precisely the definition of "programming".

I have to say that the demo left me feeling heavily underwhelmsed. It's a solution looking for a problem, where better solutions are already possible for the problem it's meant to solve.
