At the same time, tools like Github Copilot and Facebook InCoder make developers believe their code is sound And another study finds I'm shocked. SHOCKED!
Well, not that shocked.

Easy:
if the engineers are taken vacations, productivity --> really low
If not... it will depends a lot on, are they working alone? Is production running? Is there any boss around? Do the engineer really like what he does? How likely is it, that you get caught if you dream a bit during the day?

My company has a use it or lose it policy on PTO (Paid Time Off). So everyone uses it all up in December. My last day is Thursday this week, but there are other members of my team that were done for the year 2 weeks ago.
If they allowed carry over, there would be more of us working right now.
Yes, I did use a bunch during the year, next year I will be using more. We're headed to Scotland and Ireland for 2 weeks. The wife wants to see castles. So any CPians, stay off the roads during the month of June, we'll be driving in a mirror universe. Fair warning.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

The next breakthrough to take the AI world by storm might be 3D model generators. That's nice, but what does it do?
As I fall down a rabbit hole looking for the source for that quote. It seems I'm not alone in that rabbit hole[^].

In its State of Software Security, Veracode learned that most applications are either composed almost entirely of third-party code or almost entirely of code created in-house. "Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak somewhere in the town"
Sorry, I was blanking, and panicked. That's all my brain could come up with. Can anyone lend me a cup of AI today?
