A lawsuit from one of the students explains Emory found no wrongdoing and always knew how the tool, Eightball, worked. Schrödinger's grade: Getting an A and F at the same time

Reminds me of getting Employee of the Month and getting laid off a few months later. Oh, and getting my yearly bonus check along with severance AND a check for my raise that I got two months before but hadn't been applied to my paycheck. Good memories, Novell.

IF the article is correct, then those two students are:
1) Better off not being at Emory
2) Have a valid lawsuit against Emory (already been filed)
In the middle of the article, it states
The {Honor} Council also claimed Eightball attached to Canvas without permission, despite it being stated during the awards competition in Spring 2023. The body launched an investigation into the students, which found that Eightball hadn't assisted with cheating and that the student creators had never lied about its capabilities.
If this statement is true then Emory could be on the hook for more than the $10,000 award they gave for the tool.

Microsoft has already published a support page with details about the upcoming end of support. One of the sections on that website explains why Windows 11 is better than Windows 10. Well, in that case...
Yes, basically the same story as was in yesterday's newsletter, but how could I ignore that headline?

This is... interesting. I have ADHD with a sprinkle of auditory processing disorders I'd find them very useful. A bit of background noise and I have to resort to labial reading.
