Looks flashy and all, but I am not entirely convinced about how productive it could be. I'd much rather have a 24 inches each dual screen setup instead.

I have dual 27" monitors and a laptop w/docking station, all of which is standard issue at our shop.

Congratulations on your new sticky board!

Nice flowers and all, but sorry, the photo looks like it was shot with a potato with that much pixelation.

It is the problem of the image size I can upload - the original much better, and you can see the details of those butterflies...

Not quite his reputation, but his phone number. (Good Omens reference)

So, following on from the lounge posts on my change in platform, I thought I would drop a few pictures here for you to see.
First up is my cabin. There is a door to the left, you can just see the handle, that goes into my ensuite shower room/wc.
Next is my office.
And finally, the view from the accommodation platform across the bridge to the main platform itself. You can see in the back there is a couple of legs poking up and a drill derrick, that is a jackup drilling rig we have on location doing some well work.

How many times have you knocked your head on that light of shelf (?) above bed already? Do you not feel uneasy because of fumes?

The shelf has the remote controls for the TV. And I have knocked my elbow on it a few times already. When I have been sleeping with my arm over my head and then moved.
Fumes from what?

I see fire outside. While working in a plant, there was distinct smell and fumes I could feel if I go to primary area. It was not comfortable at all. I see this is only drilling so there might not be that many chemicals released to air.

We have various HC vents, as well as the flare stack, there is also an FSO quite close and it sometimes reeks if it is venting its tanks. Also, the oil is high H2S content so occasionally walking round you get a whiff of it from valve glands etc.
Not too bad so far on here, will wait for the days of no wind to see how bad it is though.

The office picture HAD to be on your first day there. There wasn't any detritus anywhere.

Close, it was my second last day of my trip, so I had a clean up before going off. there was a lot more paperwork lying around before hand.
