Could anyone tell me where I could find out how to make a menu scroll vertically?
I've seen it before where the menu follows the page. So when you scroll down the menu follows?
I have a menu created with javascript. Now where could I find out how to get it to follow where the user is looking on the left side? Vertically?
I've search yahoo and everything, but I can't find anything.. I might just be calling it the wrong thing. I don't know if there is a specific name for this kind of thing.

Hi,
I'm trying to get the body element of a page using a webBrowser control. Right now I'm testing in javascript to make sure i can access the body through the webBrowser control, but soon I'll create an activeX control and use the control from there.
My code is:
var wb = document.getElementById("wbSave");
wb.Navigate(window.location);
var body= wb.Document.body;
The point is I don't know why the body is always null. If I analize the Document children I see it contains the "head" element and its contents but I would expect it to contain the body as another child too, and however it doesn't. I've searched online in several forums and everybody seems to access the body element this way, I just can't. I'm completely clueless.
So, please if anyone can give me any help on this, it will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Kenia

Hi I’m developing an internet ASP.NET application, which needs to interact with Microsoft Certification Authority Server, the
client (browser) will request a certificate to sign a file (word, pdf) later.
I'm really disoriented. Must I use CAPICOM? Signing in the server, and sending the certificate through an SSL connection? Is
there any class in the .Net Framework to interact with Certification Authority Service without CAPICOM or an external Api?
Where can i get a code example?
Regards
Sergio

Hi,
I am a total nubie to web developing. I am trying to get two or more images overlayed and add transitions to them in order to display the next image. (i.e. wipe)I have the following code which is a total bodge but appears to do the job on a standard web form. But when I add the code to the ASP.NET project it doesn't recognise img1 as an object. Can anyone tell me how this should be done correctly??
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hai,
I've a component (vb6 dll) with one method. I've created one virtual
directory in my xp machine and registered the dll in it. I've
generated wsdl file using ms soap kit 3 in the same folder. Now when i
call the service from another vb program in the same machine / some
other machine i got the below error.
WSDLOperation: Instantiating the dispatch object for method <method>
name> failed HRESULT=0x80040154: Class not registered.
When i search on the web, it may the dll registration problem. But i'm
sure i've registered. I can add the dll as a reference in another vb
program. I can create an object in another asp program.
I've checked both are working fine. Now the problem is through web
service is shows the error.
I've tried in so many ways. After registered i've restarted the iis
and restarted the machine .....
But I've not get any solution.
If any idea pls help me.
Thanks & Regards,
Rishihar S

hi Laddie
Thanks to reply me, The function you told me it tells which event pressed by user but Actually I have to fires the event of key F11(Which maxmises the current window).Suppose when the user press a button then F11 key of keyboard runs automatically and maximises the cureent window, so that I can capture current window.

F11 doesnt maximise the window on my computer. Relying on this may be a mistake
I would be very surprised if you could send fake keyboard presses from inside a browser - think of the mischief you could cause by having a script automatically close down your machine.

I have on one machine local web application configured to a path C:\my application\app1 This is configured as "App1". An old copy of the application resides in C:\my applications\app2 and it is configured as "App2"
In all the machines the name of App2 is used except on this machine. So, I decided to bring this machine to par. Deleted both App1 and App2 from IIS and added C:\my application\app1 as "App2"
But the issue is IIS does not seems to get the change and still thinks this is App1. If I type http://localhost/app1 I get into the application even though it is configured as App2. Where as http://localhost/app2 does not work. I get 404 error.
So, when I delete a site from IIS is there any other clean up I need to do? Simply deleting the virtual directory does not to work.
I have restarted IIS and rebooted the machine several times. It did not make any difference.
Is the original App1 still cached in IIS? Shouldn't this get wiped out when IIS restarts?

Hi yousuf,
looks very strange. don't know how you done - Deleted both App1 and App2 from IIS and added C:\my application\app1 as "App2"
can you give a try in this way - go to IIS and properties of your web application. under the Directory tab see the radio "The designated Directory" is selected and under application settings Remove and re-create your web application.

Hi,
I'm looking for some good reference material on CSS. Looking around there seems to be hundreds of books and I have no idea if any of them are any good. I have a basic idea on how style sheets work and I use a few styles here and there but my CSS skills have never really been any good and I need some help. Currently, I'm developing a website in ASP 2.0. The pages look ok in IE 7, but really lousy in Firefox.
Anyone have any book recommendations? Failing that, does anyone know where I can find some useful info on the web?
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Friends,
This is Ashrith.
I have developed a web application.
The application works perfectly on my local machine.
But when I host the application on my domain space, I find the following problems with it:
1. Cannot be able to register.
When I try to register on the site, the same page is being shown.
2. Content not written to XML file.
I have some content in the database which should be written to an XML file when my website is visited and the same is displayed to the user.
What might be the problem?
Please help me.
Thanks in Advance.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. We don't know what you mean by 'register' or 'the same page is being shown'. Please elaborate more, with such as an error message (if there is one), or more relevant details.

I have some content in the database which should be written to an XML file when my website is visited and the same is displayed to the user.
Perhaps no write permissions are specified on the directory that the file is being written to.
