I'm not a professional, and definitely not a web or graphic designer. And I have no idea where your website is.

This qualifies you to write about politics and economics.

Copy writing is a good way of starting out. It gives you the experience of writing in lots of different styles, and allows you to practice writing to deadlines. Then you can figure out what it you specifically want to write about?

Why are you telling me this?

I am sorry, but this site deals with programming issues. You need to try a site that provides advice on marketing and selling.

And why are you telling me the same thing again? I suggest you spend some time learning what this site is about before posting irrelevant messages.

Your posts were delayed in being posted because they went into the "Spam Moderation" queue.
That is where the automated systems on the site (the "hamsters") detected certain phrases that might have indicated the message was spam. Messages like that go into a special area visible to Site Protectors to be checked over by a human.
I read both your posts and decided they were not spam and "let them through" - unfortunately as I said, there was a delay. Sometimes people post things again because they assume the first one didn't work, I think that is what happened here.
Just letting you know as I've seen your "Hello, I'm new" post, so hello, and welcome to CodeProject.

Oh right yes! Thank you, I posted twice because I wasn't sure if it was working.

I would add to what been mention here, to have sales skills, which can help with the 'make a leaving' part. I know plenty of very skillful writers which can't make a leaving and a bunch of mediocre ones who can. The difference focusing mainly of how well they sold themselves and networked with people. So when their skills were needed people knew to contact them

I believe the best quality is meeting deadlines, apart from that actually researching the topics you're asked to write about would be of vital importance.

Well, after first looking at your post I would consider grammar to me of utmost importance. I would also suggest writing for the country you are from. Most people I have outsourced to don't know of the subtle nuances that come from the USA. The same would be true if I were to write for another country. My American accent wouldn't sound quite right.

I'm guessing you've got the writing part down.
Instead of forming ideas and doing research. You should do market research, study your target audience.
Then generate ideas and do research on them.
And always do fact checking.

Well, there are many paths to a writing career. I started in a content writing service, which helped me to learn alot. Here are a few tips to get started:
1. Show your work.
2. Applying for gigs.
3. Develop a byline.
4. Understand your audience.
5. Avoid scams.
6. Learn to negotiate.
7. Pick a niche.
8. Voila - You have done it

I am stuck. Website (business) is now created and we have very few users for the site. It was developed to help the freelance community and employers on outsourcing work. But it seems if you are not registered with one of the big boys then you remain unseen.
Is there a way to avoid the obvious i.e. not getting further than GO!?

The best method will be to present a mixture of both. Create content that is interesting and holds the interest of your users. Case studies, industry news, organization news, research can form great content. Then you need to take this content among your target audience via Social Media, blogging platforms or article directories.

|
|
|
|
To promote your site, you have rank your site through SEO service. In addition you have explore your business and services to targeted audience through impressive and quality content.
By the way, while writing article or using social medias try to convey your service and new implementation in your products rather than promoting by using your company history and all.
Hope you get some idea..All the best for your business.

Both are perfect ways but if really wanted to choose the one of them, then social media may be the best one to go and market your site. It really helps to create your community and tell everyone about your site. Publish text, images and videos to promote your website on social media.
